OK, I am really getting excited about this years MAF!

It does not have much to do with the new nOrh Micro marble column 9.0 speakers I will pick up, nor is it the Teres turntable w/SME series IV arm and SL RG-8 cartridge I will get there.  Ok maybe it does have something to do with that :-)

It is not the mini keg of India Pale Ale (yes Wayne, it seems quite adequite) I'm bringing to share.

What it is, is seeing (not in any order) the nOrh gang and MB, Klaus, and others I have met before, but also meeting Chris Brady (Teres), Wayne Waananen (Bolder), Mike Galusha, Jason Wong, and all the others, as well as seeing Bruce Edgar again (and knowing who he is this time   ),
Thom Mackris from Redpoint, Ron Welborne, Louis Chochos (Omega), Rick Craig and Jim Griffen etc...which are all show exhibitors, but it will be meeting all you guys and having you buy me drinks and hookers...

My last semester at college I had all my requirements met so I just needed credits.  Fencing was one of the classes I took, so bring on your punk ass!

Oh yea, billiards, bowling, soccer and riflery were some others that semester....

Looking forward to meeting you and others. Wayne, Jason and I are in Columbia Missouri for the night. About 550 miles to go, so we should arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon in Lima. We did about 800 miles today without incident.

I'm sure Wayne will appreciate the beer, as the restaraunt where we dined this evening had no beer on tap. Seems their keg cooler was not functional. :(

Bummer :-(
sorry to hear you had to drink bottled beer  :P

Just make sure you take care of that Teres  8)

I will bring the IPA Friday afternoon.. BTW, the Master brewer grew up just south of Lima and asked what was going on.  When I told him he told me he still had over 2500 LP's!!!  :o

I asked him if he wanted to sell them and he said yes!! :o

I didn't have time to really talk to him but I will soon

DrPhoto said he would come and bring his camera if he didn't have to go to LA and shoot some super models for Hugh Hefner :o

(most of this post is true)  8)

Well, um you know I didn't tell any of them that I was going to be there, so I can understand if they don't show up.

Now if I can only get Doc's assistant "Vanessa" to show up in Lima I could die a happy man! 8)

There will be plenty of photos. All of us brought cameras and the rooms have high speed internet, so posting the pictures won't be a problem. Perhaps a gallery section just for the MAF.

John, we'll try and get some pictures while we're at the keg as well. :)

See you all later afternoon.  Just found out I have to stop at a customer's place on the way.
First thing you guys do when you get there is ice that keg!
  :thumb:  :drums:  :smoke:     .....then start all over again.

Ernest

I'll be there Saturday

I'll be arriving late Saturday morning, but can only stay until about 6 PM.  I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you guys!  I'm also looking forward to finally hearing some horn speakers.  I wish someone there was going to have the RM40s and the RM/Xs.

I'll be there to demo the Linus "2" and answer questions. Be sure to check out the BESL designs in the same suite.
