I use a CI Audio DAC -> Rotel Pre -> 2x bridge Rotel 970BX's (180 watt mono)

That setup currently feeds my NHT superzeros through a passive NHT sub that apparently never made it to market.  But I posted because I was curious as to what others like--not necessarily what would work for me.   :oops:

I have the Ascend Acoustics CBM-170s.  Very well reviewed and I love the musical presentation and great imaging (standmounted two-ways).  About $350 delivered in the rough looking vinyl finish.  Rated flat to 70 Hz (good enough IMO for many musical forms in a smaller room and/or wall reinforcement).  Content value high, mates well with a sub down the road.

These are currently in my HT system and are overkill for my priorities.  Ascend Acoustics has been perfect to deal with and they can flesh out a full HT system later.
