Help me decide on Lansing or wooden box for Cornet?

The Lansing box is practical and prolly helps with RFI but I already have a 14ga. piece of Brass Plate just the right size and some really gorgeous Padauk.
How important is the shielding? Or does it just depend on local condiitons? I could line the wood box with copper foil?

Depends on local proximity to other electric fields.  We're talking inches here.  You can probably get away with the wooden box and a little lining.

jh :)

The wood and brass will make a nice chassis. I found copper foil at Ace Hardware and it worked well in my C2. Have fun.
