Bi amping
« on: 22 Jun 2005, 01:12 am »
I am going to be using a tube pre amp, but am interested in sticking with Bryston amps for my PMC FB1+ spkrs. How do I bi amp using a pair of 3BSTs ? I have never been able to 'get' the cable layout..is there a web site or drawing I can look at to undersatnd this hook up?

And will there be that much of a sonic improvement vs a single larger amp like a 4BST..which I have also used before, some time ago though..

They wil lsound the same so stick with 2*3b. I prefer st to sst. Use one amp per speaker and wire one to the treble and one to the bass.
