One of my absolute favorite dishes is a nice center cut pork chop glazed in a combination of butter, brown sugar and pear juice. Make the mixture thick like syrup and baste the chops with it. When the chops are nearing perfection, place pear halves on the grill and baste them with the mixture. Turn the pears when grill marks are burned into them and baste the other side. Oh, BTW, I use canned pear halves in lite syrup.
Ummmmm, pork chops with pears! Even better than apple sauce (which is pretty kikin' I must say)!!
