I have built the Bully, NX-Studio, NX-Otica and Line Force, along with triple and quad OB subs.
The Bullys are fun party speakers. They have great energy, good tone, and solid bass performance as you would expect from a speaker incorporating a servo woofer. But they are not as refined as the NX-series speakers.
I'd say it depends on what you are looking for out of speakers, and how much room you have. The open baffle speakers really need some space to perform their best. I had mine well out into the room (7ft from front baffle to the wall behind) which created a massive soundstage which I really like.
I don't have as much room for my NX-Studios which I have in my bedroom system, but these speakers are designed to work closer to the wall. They have nice detail and decent imaging, but don't have the dynamics and mid-bass energy that the NX-Oticas have (as you would probably expect). My setup with these is a compromise to fit my bedroom arrangement though, so comparing them to my main system is not really fair. I suspect they would sound much better in a well designed listening room with a pair of OB servo subs.
Since the Bully is not an open baffle speaker and has a lot of tuning options with the built in plate amp, it offers a bit more flexibility in positioning. These are actually my daughter's speakers and she has them set with the back of the speakers about a foot from the wall in her apartment. The room is a shared living room/kitchen with tall sloped ceiling about 350 sq ft. She's using them with a fairly budget system (Wiim Ultra streamer and Fosi class D monoblocks) and she likes the way they sound.
