Anyone had any experiences using the GeerFab box with NuPrime DAC's?  Curious to hear what people think.  Interested in the sound of SACD's using the DSD over DoP vs the 88.2 PCM sound I get using the Kanex extractor. I have an IDA-6 with an Oppo 93 for hi rez discs.  No interest in files, so please don't go there.

This is not exactly around the GeerFab D.Bob but I did use an eBay device similar to the one below to connect my Sony UBP-X800M2 transport to a Nuprime DAC-9 for SACD, DVD-A and CD listening.  DSD over PCM worked really well in this setup. I have since acquired an Evo DAC-2 and will be setting up the transport to interface with it in the near future.

(OT) How do you like your Evo DAC-2? How does it compare to the DAC-9? [I own a DAC-9x, and quite like it.]

I have not spent much time with it to say a lot but am hoping to change that soon. My first impressions are that there is a lot more details, compared to the DAC-9, and possibly a wider soundstage. Missing a bit of the DAC-9's smoothness for now. I will be using my system a bit more extensively, including my analog setup hooked to the Evo DAC-2 and may have more observations to share after.
