SET 120 Control Pilot lights
« on: 7 Nov 2025, 08:42 pm »
The one I recently got has two. Assuming this is an older model. Can anyone tell me what the second light is for?
Thanks.

This is no help in answering your question, but I've got a CA1 and it also has two, and I don't know that I've ever seen the second one light up. Since it's right above the headphone jack I plugged my headphones in thinking that it might have something to do with that but it didn't come on.

Thanks, yes wondered about the headphone jack. Maybe when the amp is bridged? Hope to find out! :D

The second "pilot light" is used for the IR receiver in the AVA preamplifiers and the CA1. The SET 120 control amplifier does not have remote control so it is not used.
