Watched it over the weekend. Very good movie about the life of Bobby Darin. Kevin Spacey does an excellent job portraying Bobby Darin. I think he did all the singing. No dubbing.

I saw Kevin Spacey sing Mind Games a while back on a tribute show to John Lennon.  Quite impressive.  Who knew?  Actually was better than most of the 'singing artists' on the show.  I've been a Spacey fan since American Beauty...  I'll definitely check out the new movie.

So, I watched Beyond the Sea this past weekend.  I thought it was very enjoyable.  While I probably won't rush out and buy any Bobby Darin CD's it was a very interesting portrayal of his life.  It's a period piece too, which I tend to like, but not blatantly so.  I give Kevin Spacey two thumbs up for his performance (acting and (I also assume) singing).

Not as compelling as Ray, but still very enjoyable.
