Initial reaction:
Dynamic, HUGE soundstage, SUPER SMOOTH, EFFORTLESS, expansive, wonderful clarity, detailed, extreme degree of finesse', super silky highs, all taking my listening experience to a new undefined level.  Musical information overload almost!   Very Solid build quality, awesome and unique asthetics.  In a phrase, "art for the ears".

Thanks for sharing - and rubbing it in

They truely are most impressive looking.

Do these speakers have built in amplfiers?

Can you compare them with other speakers you have liked?

PS: Drop me an email when you ship them to me

Those are sweet lookin'.  Jerry, I'm guessing those heatsinks are for cooling the crossovers.  What kind of subs are those?  Are they DIY?

Jerry, thanks!  I posted the pics just for you, since you PM'd me about them sharing in my excitement. ;)  Just wait out front for the UPS truck.  Shouldn't take over about 15-20 years for him to get there. ;)

Yeah, I guess ZooDog must be right, the heatsink must be for cooling crossover.    Since they have no amps.  Pretty interesting.

Thanks too ZooDog.   Oh, the subs are called Velex.  hahaha.  Get it? ;)  Yes, they are DIY.  12" Adire Shiva drivers, dual ports, and driven by a Parasound 1500A amp.  They are only used for home theater, or music driven by my Lexicon MC-1.  My dedicated solid state 2 channel is not crossed over with the subs.  I don't like involving possibily inferior electronics, and the 40 Hz depth of the Extremas is proving to be sufficient for most of my music.

Another possible, might sound nutty, reason for the heatsinks might have to do with dissipating vibration in the xo.  Not to say I am right but it might be reason.

Ok guys, well make up your own mind based upon this view.  In fact the fins are a part of the crossover asssembly...
