The NHB-108 clones are top notch choice and are really popular across other forums if you search. I have one myself and it is outstanding, so much so I bought a second as a backup. And no it is not 'good for the price' - it is outstanding period. There are a lot of different sellers on AliExpress but 'Funkenya' and 'Sunshine Audio' are popular with quite a few sales of these amps. Their version is called the D5 and D5Pro. The D5Pro is highly recommended. I'll add links at the bottom.

In general a great resource on AliExpress amps and preamps is 'HiFi Zone' on Youtube. He's reviewed many and walks through their internals as well. There are other youtubers but for some reason they are mainly German audiophiles. One of them reviewed and tested the D5Pro and it measured exactly as specced. Fact is there are some outstanding audio products out of China and AliExpress, but it is on you to choose a good seller and find the right deal not unlike shopping at a bazaar.

Not sure if the OP was looking at only super low budget stuff but I picked up a Kinki Studio EX-M7 stereo power amp and Holy Cow!! For under $3K this is a killer amp when running my Magnepan LRSs. Clean clean clean on detail with significant bass control. This is a beast on the low end. Unfortunately there are not many reviews on it but it is quite a value if in your budget range.

Looks like his search is over. The dealbreaker for me is it's a whopping ~80lbs/36kg. I did get the ASYPDZSW NHB-108 clone (different from the D5Pro) he reviewed and I absolutely love it.
