I was wondering if the parts for the bugle kit can be sorced from radio shack  or my local electronics store,or are these parts manufacture specific.

I'll take a stab at this.  While most of the parts can likely be found locally, you will probably have to order the opamps.  You might be able to find drop-in replacements of lower quality locally (depending on your shops), but I doubt you'll find 2134s or comperable opamps.

Rat Shack might have NE5534 (or whatever the dual is), which could work ok.  

What it really boils down to is that perhaps you can find all the parts to fit, not only will they be of lower quality, but they will cost you two to three times as much.
