Arrived at the Renaissance Convention Hotel to be ready for setup day tomorrow.

AXPONA 2025 Danville Signal room 354 setup day done and the Magnepan 1.7i's with the PlanarBASS subs are working well for the ABC demo. 

Heard the CSS/Orchard Audio room 452 is up and running for their 3-TDX passive vs DSP crossover demo is ready.

Friday show starts at 10AM and will take room pictures before the crowds arrive and post.

AXPONA 2025 Day#1 complete.  Very busy Friday with lots of listening and discussions.

Had multiple customers with the dspNexus 2/8 system stop by along with new folks for a listen to the Magnepan 1.7i and Wendell Diller PlanarBASS OB subs in an ABC comparison of Passive crossover vs DSP crossover vs DSP crossover with PlanarBASS subs comparison.

How do the subs sound compared to the GR Research OB sub?

These are PlanarBASS 8in sub drivers that go to 30Hz, not the 14Hz of the 12in GR Servo subs.  For that frequency range they sound very good in the demo room as that is the only way to hear them with the Magnepan 1.7i's.

The PlanarBASS subs are only offered bundled with a dspNexus 2/8 as the DSP does the sub EQ and then room bass management to amps.

The Audiophile Junkie stopped by the Danville Signal room today for a full video report.

AXPONA 2025 Day #3 and had a lot of folks and reviewers stop by the room for the demo.

The show is done and Danville Signal on the way back to Minnesota with the system.
