The housecleaning continues.   

I have a group of 7 blackplate 12AU7/5814 tubes for sale.  12AU7 and 5814 are the same tube.
Blackplates are from the 1950s and very early 1960s and many people prefer them over grayplates.
Tubes do not have any remaining logos unless otherwise noted, just their etched model designations.
All tubes test 90% of new specification or better.

QUAD GE 2 MICA BLACKPLATE WITH SILVER CLIPS (BRACES)   $60
The build of these identifies them as early to mid 1950s.
All 4 tubes have very partial logos.




SINGLE GE 2 MICA BLACKPLATE WITHOUT SILVER CLIPS   $10
Same design as above but without the braces identifies it as later 1950s.




SINGLE GE 3 MICA BLACKPLATE WITH D GETTER   $20
This is also an early to mid 1950s design and 3 micas are generally consider better than 2 micas.




SINGLE KEN-RAD (KENTUCKY RADIO) 2 MICA NICKEL/PEWTER PLATE WITH SILVER CLIPS (BRACES)   $20
This is the tube that started it all.  GE bought Ken-Rad and moved into their factory because of their high quality tubes.
