Came across a YT video about a guy Chris Hewitt who has collected and is rebuilding PFs Quad PA system used for DSOTM tour and Pompeii. Title The Secrets of Pink Floyds Quad PA.
He hopes to complete the restore and get some iteration of PF to do a Quad concert.
Maybe Nick Masons band that toured with Saucer Full Of Secrets would be a potential candidate. Doubt Roger or David would be interested.
Cool thing too, PF used Phase Linear home system power amps for that rig. Had them beefed up for rough handling on the road. Kudos to Bob Carver. Ive had his pre amp and amp for 43 years.
