The SVS app controls all subwoofer DSP functions and allows for storing custom presets that you configure. For instance, configure one preset for watching TV / movies, another preset for 2-channel music, etc... with switching between presets available on-the-fly from Couch Central Command via the smartphone app. I have been extremely pleased with their performance, but I am finding my current speakers don't need subs... so on to play with more toys.
