GUS is back on the road! I sold my '77 Wagoneer and had an OEM hitch installed on my 2023 Subaru Onyx a couple weeks ago.
These days I use GUS for around the town hauling. Now I'm thinking with a little work he could become a "Mad Max" camping rig.
In 1977 when I lived in Julesberg, Colorado I bought a Gus's old non-running truck for $35. A mechanic removed the cab, cut and welded the frame to a "V" and welded on a ball hitch. I used GUS for work and he has traveled 1000's of miles.
