Volume Pot for Clairinet

Can anyone suggest a really good volume pot? I found a nice Grayhill selector switch and wanted a volume pot that would complement it. I was looking at a stepped attenuator, but is that over-kill?

I have recently read quite a few good reports on the PEC carbon pot. DIY HiFi Supply has them matched to 5% for $56USD I believe.
