Salk Song3 Beat sound signature vs....

Hi folks... I currently have a pair of Omega Super Alnico Monitors which I pair with flea watt amps and love (low end could be better but good enough)

I have a chance to build a second system and was going to go with higher powered amps with floor standing 2.5+way speakers.

I have been blown away by Joseph Audio Perspectives at every audio show I've been too, but unless I find them used (rarely) they are way out of my budget.

I've started interest in the Song3 BEAT speakers. Perfect size and listed freq response.

Based on the above could anyone describe the sound signature of the Salks? even in comparison to the others I mentioned above?

I've listened to many of Joseph audio speakers over the years. I would say they have a boosted low end and mid bass. The BeAt's are a better value by far and never get tiring when playing them. I've used many of amps with them and they always sounded true to the recording. My vote would be the Salk's hands down.

Thanks Rshorb! Well I done did it. The Song3 BeAT’s are headed my way next week. Can’t wait to try them out. I’ll be trying them out with some different amps. Atma-Sphere Class D monoblocks, a Fully restored McIntosh 2505, and some Western Electric 6L6 monoblocks.
