Hi All,
I've been interested in high quality audio for most of my life. I've done live audio for theater and vocal group performances, have worked for a home theater company, a car stereo company and several other companies (including a startup I founded) that dealt with telecommunications and voice over IP. I currently have a Sonos whole-home audio system and a media room in a 5.1 configuration built with Marantz and Paradigm components.
While I consider myself to have audiophile tendencies, I'm certainly not a purist. In other words, I know what excellent sounds like but in the end I simply seek to maximize audio enjoyment given an environment and a budget.
Are there other folks from the Boston area on this forum? Any local meetups I should know about?
