I am the original owner of a ACI Maestro XL Powered Subwoofer that I purchased new from ACI on April 14, 2007 and have a question concerning the Run and Standby Indicator LEDs that are on the front panel of the external Maestro XL power amp.

When the external subwoofer amp is powered on, the Run LED light is Blue, indicating the amp is in Run mode.  And, the Standby LED is yellow, which indicates the amp is in Standby (Mute) mode.  Once I power on the rest of my system and start playing music, the Run LED remains Blue, and the Standby LED remains yellow.  A Green LED never appears - Green indicates normal operation.  And, A Red LED never appears - Red indicates an over-temperature or fault condition.

My question is, is it normal for the the Standby LED light to stay yellow the entire time I'm playing music, while the Run LED is Blue ?  Per the owner's manual, Yellow Standby LED indicates the amp is in Standby (mute) mode.

And, I'm using two Y-Adapters (left and right) at my pre-amp outputs that goes to the external subwoofer amp's inputs.

I know this sounds like a silly question, but it has been awhile since I last used my Maestro XL sub, and I don't remember if this is normal or not.  To me, if I'm playing music and the Run LED is Blue - indicates the amp is in Run mode, then the Standby LED should not be Yellow, which indicates the amp is in Standby (Mute) mode.  The Standby LED should be off when music is playing and Run LED is Blue ????

Thank you

I think Triad made the amplifier, maybe they could help.

Thank you for the link and information.

I believe you are right.  I was able to find a post on the AVSForum market place selling a TRIAD 500W Subwoofer Amplifier RACKAMP-500.  Looking at the photos, this is exactly the amp I have, except the TRIAD branding is replaced with a ACI one.

I did search for TRIAD RackAMP 500 manual and variants of this, but so far, I have not found anything useful.

Looking at the TRIAD site, they direct you to the Snap One Partner Portal for support, which appears you need to be an authorized dealer or installer to access the site.  Thought about requesting an ID, but it looks like its not that simple.

Will try submitting my question directly to TRIAD's `customer` email and see if I can find a authorized dealer that I can reach out to.
