The only subject of this post is speaker stands.

I need two 50" tall speaker stands for speakers 15x10x10 HWD, about 30 lbs ea.  This is for a three-channel front array; the center goes atop a 50" tall TV.  All speakers will be tilted downward & have tweeter at base.  I humbly request all responses be confined to speaker stands only.  Did I print that already?  Sorry.      

Am willing to make stands.  Would appreciate anyone pointing me toward a well-tested & accepted recipe.

Great site.  Thanks very much rb.  50" tall stands are not available at Noel's, but he gave me detailed construction plans.
