Introduction

Hi all -  I've been deepening my journey into the world of audiophile I've been enjoying listening to music instead of watching TV for the last few years.

My current setup is a combo of the Michi S5 amplifier and P5 preamplifier paired with Paradigm Founder 100F speakers. I've also got stereo REL T9x subwoofers in the mix for that extra depth. Now, I've been eyeing a potential speaker upgrade and have been impressed with demos of the Bryston Model T and the Sonus Faber Olympica Nova V.  I'm joining this forum to dig a little deeper and learn from others (and maybe find some speakers for sale)

Cheers!
Dan

Welcome!

Have you considered active monitors (speakers with sophisticated low voltage crossover and one channel of amplification per driver)?  That's what studio professionals use for increased detail, bass response, etc. Prices run from $300/pair for JBL 305 Mk2 on up.  Features can include 25-40,000 Hz response, room correction, built-in DAC's, wireless signaling, even variable tunings.  Set up can be super simple, just a power cable.  No speaker cable to mess with, no trying to match power amp to speaker.

I have not looked into this option - but will dig into a bit, thank you!
