I have decided to reorganise my electronics.

Taking a step back, I have decided that I have cluttered the space behind and between the speakers with all the electronics on a stand. This cant be good for allowing the rear dipole signal to evolve.

So I'm going to move all that kit onto the shelving area shown in the attachment, and leave the space behind the speakers as clear as possible. I hape this is going to be worth the effort

I'm a believer in clearing the space between and behind the loudspeakers (regardless of design) completely. 

My current set-up is purist, (2) Buchardt A500SE monitors on trial-legged stands well removed from the front wall with a 7" x 2" x 4" fully wireless hub sitting on top of a GIK 244 absorption panel.  In the past I've had small systems that sat on a single shelf spiked to the floor, like the amp stands of decades ago, finding that anything between the loudspeakers disrupt the soundstage.

I discovered the same thing quite by accident, but find it to be absolutely true with my OB speakers.
