When I found Gr-Research website I realized I could hear music in the same quality as is in a Beverly Hills Man / Woman Cave I was happy.  I was and still am amazed and kind of mad at some of the parts I have seen with my own eyes that are in $7,000.00 speakers.  I beat many people are also Mad after thinking they were getting high quality iteam with the latest and greatest electronic parts that were tirelessly tested and tweaked by the people with white gloves on.  Just imaging you just bought a $90,000 SUV and when you open the hood to check your oil and you find the same type of engine that's in your lawn mower.  I'd be a'lil more than mad. hat do think??

Welcome to AC!

You pretty much hit the nail on the head as far as I'm concerned. However, GR Research is but one of many manufacturers who provide impressive lower priced audio gear for less money than the big boys. Most of the manufacturers listed on AC deliver very impressive products. When you 'open the hood', you get Ferrari engines - often at very reasonable prices.

I find it very difficult to justify spending my money at brick and mortar dealerships now that I know about all the manufacturer-direct audio companies on AC and elsewhere.
