Stacking Response Treatments?
« on: 13 Mar 2006, 08:53 pm »
Due to room placement issues, I cannot put all of my response treatments in the standard recommended locations.  A couple of my treatments are mounted in less than optimal locations.

Can I move some of my "extra" response treatments out of the useless locations and instead stack them ontop of existing well located treatment locations?

For instance, can I place TWO triangles in the front left ceiling corner, one stacked on top of the other?  Shinny reflected side of both pointing into the room (but the inner one covered by the outer one)?

You can, but it won't have much effect.  It should actually make it sound a bit worse.  Even if there is furniture in the way, proper placement will yield positive results.  Feel free to email me some photos and I can recommend the most effective placement for the product you have.
