Thank you. I won't be covering up the artwork. After removing 1/3 the batting, doing tone sweep they drop down to 38 Hz, then it sloughs right off. Couldn't be happier. The soundstage, dynamics and even bass impact is uncanny for their size. Still burning in caps and will get a desktop vid up soon. Thanks for all the input on these...

Finalized with fly-cut cross-hatch machining and omitted the thin sheet metal bracket mounts as they'll be attached and sealed with polyurethane rubber adhesive. This will mitigate any resonance at the highest volumes.

Finally got a weekend day to reassemble the new covers. Had to grind down the factory ABS crossover mounts to clear the alloy crossbraces.
I like the nickel plated binding posts with the patina. Added 4×4×5/8" open cell foam top and bottom directly behind mids as well. These added a couple lbs. to the build.

Fascinating idea. Now you need to build one to fit over the tweeter section. May I suggest that you paint those drive unit covers ‘Navy Blue’ which would be a fabulous contrast to the colour of the speaker cabinets.

The tweeter would look something like this. It can be any color ... it is an aesthetic modification. I am satisfied with the sound as it is, but it would be good to change the capacitors.

Great idea, and I like the black and white look too. I think the tweeter anti-diffraction is a goal on these little MTM towers.
The Clarity PX cap sounds great in these. More refined than the Audiphiler cap I originally had in there.
