Yes, you read that correctly. This is a listing for four (4) AudioQuest 72v DBS packs for FREE (+ $20 shipping in the continental US). They work as advertised and even have brand new batteries installed (as of November 2022).
So what's the catch?
Well, these were made from plastics that become "gummy" over time. Does this affect the performance? Nope. If you bought them new with a set of AudioQuestion cables would this manufacturing defect bother you? Yes. Hence a very generous replacement by AudioQuest. This leaves me with (4) DBS packs without purpose.
If you have the older 36v packs, and wanted to "upgrade" to the (older) 72v style, here's your chance. Ain't nobody gonna be seeing them.
I don't feel right charging for them - I just want to cover the costs of buying a bubble mailer and UPS ground shipping. My ask is that if you don't use them, you pass along them to the next party for free (other than the cost of shipping).
