Just saying hello to all, from Texas!

I ran across this site looking for capacitor and resistor mods I want to perform on my Sonus Faber Grand Piano Home speakers, as they have some age on them, and could stand a 'makeover'.

I've been into Home Theater and Music for some time now.  I've managed both Home Audio and Mobile Audio shops/depts in my retail past (mid 80's thru early 90's).  Just like most folks I truly appreciate great audio gear from all makers, but I am always looking for the best bang for the buck, so I tend to buy used to get to my means.

My home theater room consist of; Anthem Statement D2, (2) Harmon Kardon hk775, Parasound HCA-1206, Denon DP-52f turntable, Oppo BDP-93, Toshiba SD-9200 (amazing CD player), Sonus Faber Grand Piano Home fronts, Piccolo Solo center, Jamo D 55UR rears, Cabasse Thor II Noir subwoofer

Home office consist of; JVC A-X5 Integrated Amp, Sony X202ES CD Player, Sony MDs-JE520 Minidisc Player, Panasonic SC-3500 DAT Player, Denon DP-7f Turntable, Revel Concerta2 M16 speakers, NHT B10d Subwoofer

I've performed some maintenance on my equipment that involves simple test & replace of various components, but I am no expert... I just get lucky sometimes!

I'm here in the hopes of learning, and improving my sound systems.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
