I have updated the demo pair of speakers to include rear panel vent and 3-position treble contour switch.
Venting boosts mid bass by 2dB. This allows the speaker to sound more balanced when auditioned standalone. Included are foam inserts to plug the vent thus converting the speaker back to sealed, such as for use with a subwoofer.
Treble contour is +1/0/-1dB. This will allow the user to find a setting that better matches his system/room/personal-preference. 1dB is a subtle change, and yet it spans a full decade of frequency in the upper range. I intentionally have kept the change small so as not to drastically alter the original voicing.
