B135-SST2 Problem.
« on: 18 Aug 2022, 02:14 am »
Hi,
I have a B135-SST2 . Last night it was working fine . Turned everything off, turned off the power conditioner it was plugged into . The next morning turned everything back on , there was no power indication on the B135. The stand by light does not come on . I tried different power cords at a different outlet. Pulled the fuse, checked it with a volt/ohm meter, fuse is good. Was wondering if there was anything on the inside I could check?
Thanks

This sounds like it may be a fuse problem. My 2.5B SST2 went out and when I shipped it back to Bryston, it turned out to be a fuse problem only. I was told that Bryston would be shipping spare fuses with new amps in the future.

Yep, it was the fuse. Went back and checked it again with my meter, it was blown.

I am glad the fuse was the problem as it beats the heck out of sending the unit back. Where did you get the fuse, locally? When mine blew, the fuse could not be located anywhere in my home town. So, Bryston sent me extra fuses.
