Introduction from Vancouver BC
« on: 12 Jul 2022, 06:02 pm »
Morning figured I should probably join this group as I have been reading posts from here for a while now. Long time audiophile enthusiast and like to experiment with different ideas. A little biased towards the bryston brand as its been a part on my system in many ways and I often buy and sell different amps, pre amps, processors etc. I also like the vintage Jbl sound when played loud as it reminds of of that era. 4350 still being one of my favourites. I have and will be building some speakers based on vintage Jbl components to suit my requirements. I am also now at the stage where I am updating my dacs  and often researching what direction to take.
Looking forward to what I can learn and contribute here.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome!

I've owned two pair of JBL's: L44 back in the 70's (my first serious audio purchase); and 708P's (2-way actives which I considered the best all around loudspeaker I've ever encountered).
