TASCAM BD-MP4K 4k UHD Blu-ray player with analog audio outputs

Today while checking out the latest TASCAM recorders I noticed the BD-MP4K 4k UHD Blu-ray player.



What caught my eye is its the increasingly rare example of a 4k UHD Blu-ray player with a full complement of analog audio putputs. Stereo on both XLR & RCA along with 7.1 channels of surround sound on RCAs. For a reasonable $700 a gateway into 4k UHD for those of us with 2.0 home theater or older processor based rigs.

  I have their Professional CD recorder. They make a good product and this Blu-ray Player looks pretty, but IMO it's missing a usb port.
  My Yamaha has a usb port and I mainly use that as a Digital Player to play usb sticks. When I'm not Streaming Amazon HD my go to Player is Leawo Blu-ray Player on Computer using the usb output to external dac.

If and when my Yamaha craps out I will consider getting this product. 8)
