just wanted to say Hello... I'm in Surrey in the UK, about midway between London and the South Coast, been into hifi for most of my life (I'm mid 50's) for the last 8 years or so I've been collecting high-end mini systems & components like Aurex 15, Mitsubishi M-04, Telefunken M1, Meridian/Boothroyd Stuart 1xx, Naim, etc. And small amp & tuner pairings, from 1950's, 60's and 70's. All vintage stuff basically.
Self-employed, dad, grandfather, live in a 400 year old cottage in the middle of woodland, long-suffering wife, etc ... all the usual for guys my age into hifi lol
