I am switching to a simple integrated and so I am going to sell this amazing DAC. I have never seen a non-glowing review and have seen several that say it competes with DACs many times the price. Current new retail is $2900.00
The preamp function is excellent as well due to the way they designed the whole system to be separate.
If you are not aware, the DDP-2 was designed by Peter Madnick of Audio Alchemy - one of the great minds in digital audio along with Andrew Jones - a true audio design guru.
Peter also did design work for Constellation Electronics where he designed Uber Uber expensive digital gear.
