I've been reconfiguring my 2 systems and bought one of these as a fill-in and when I got it I was shocked. This tiny amp verges on high end sound, due to the two German Infineon MERUS MA12070 power amplifier chips, independently powering the two channels of the amplifier in a balanced circuit, tied to a medical grade power supply and ingenious design.
This is not like the many chip amp designs using re-purposed op-amps which are very clean but weak sounding. The Merus is a landmark chip, a true high performance dedicated power amp chip. It is full bodied, with excellent transparency and dynamics within its pretty generous power output.
Produces an honest 60-80 WPC, and has surprising bass power and dynamics into the 20s.
Guys, this is not a joke. Hearing is believing. I believe the Merus chip, properly used as in this amp, is a real innovation.

I was so impressed I bought another and used them in both my systems, driving both my 86 db $1500 Revel M105s and my 87 db 4 way $18,000 Avalons. These are hard to drive high resolution speakers and the sound is very satisfying.
This guy is dynamic, sweet, spacious and uncolored. Has a sub out and switchable equalization, both balanced and single ended inputs. It is so efficient it has no heat sinks and never even gets warm.
They sell for $200 new plus shipping, but they come out of China which takes a couple of months now. I get that no one in the states want to sell a real quality $200 amp, it seems.

This one is 2 months old, and I have decided the big system needs more input flexibility, so this is on the block. I'm keeping the other amp, it is amazing with my Revels in my office.
Sonically, it easily outperforms any amp under $700 I've heard, and I've owned a lot of them.
The A20A matched to the Topping E50 dac/pre I'm selling makes a remarkable stack for your $400.
$190 shipped to US.
Thanks for having a look.
