For sale is a Dayton Titanic Mk3 15" subwoofer which I bought and assembled in roughly 2004.  It has been used on and off over the years for music primarily at sane (not loud, much less concert-level) listening volumes, so not overdriven with high excursion movie explosions or concert volumes.

The current plate amp is showing its age and starts cutting in and out after about 30 minutes of use, so I think it's pretty much shot at this point.  Consider this ad priced for the driver and cabinet, assuming buyer will need a new plate amp.

The Dayton 1000 watt plate amp (https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-SPA1000-1000W-Subwoofer-Plate-Amplifier-300-809) is the equivalent replacement plate amp for the design, but you might be able to get by with the cheaper 500 watt sibling if your volume needs aren't huge.  I'm not an expert on subwoofer plate amps, so there might be other cheaper or better price/performance options out there.  For shopping purposes, to fit the cabinet cutout, the plate dimensions are a hair under 12" square, and the cabinet cutout is about 10" square.

Cabinet is finished in a textured black matte finish, and is in good condition for its age, but has lost significant lustre over the years and has a few minor scratches in different places.  I can provide more detailed pics on request.  There's also a matching grill, but three of four tabs have broken and it doesn't stay centered on the cabinet anymore.

Not entirely sure how to price this, but looking at currently available kits on Parts Express (https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-15-Reference-Series-HO-Subwoofer-and-Cabinet-P-300-7093), I'm thinking $300 is fair.

Asking $300 $250 $200 - this was an excellent value in 2004 at $700, and is a screaming bargain at $700 today ($200 plus new $500 plate amp).  Local pickup strongly preferred in Phoenix.  Shipping would be expensive.

Bump - priced reduced to $200 - that's $700 if the buyer replaces the amp too - a screaming bargain for a high quality sealed 15" sub.

Closest thing I can find in current market is an HSU for $979, but that's with only a 600 watt amp and is only 65 lbs.  This Dayton is a solid 80-85 lbs, so I have to believe the driver is significantly higher quality than the HSU.
