A/V-R1S height?

A/V-R1S height?

I purchased the A/V-R1S kit a few years back. I'm finally getting around to building the cabinets. I see GR Research has now changed to a revised design, and I cannot find installation information on the website. What is the correct mounting height for these speakers? Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the new model but for the A/V-1RS the top pf the wall cleat is 18" down from the ceiling. That's where mine are.

For both the AV1RS and On-wall we recommend 18-24 inches from the ceiling.

thanks folks.  since i have not yet made the cabinets, do you think i should look into going for the updated design? do you think there might be a market for the original design. thanks.
