New (old) guy from the mid south

Happy to finally get time to sign up.  I'm on a quest to figure out Danny's inverter power chain.  Electrical gremlins are just a little too common where I live.

Welcome!

Don't know the nature of your gremlins but suggest tackling the root cause of your problem.  If unreliable utility, I'd move (or build a whole house self-sufficient power source, probably solar/battery - expensive) as it will affect virtually everything in the house.  If poor wiring in the house, rewire the house perhaps room by room (again not cheap).  I added a grid locked solar array 7 years ago after catching an incentive program and a whole house automatic generator after our portable died and I'm getting too old to a drag large portable outside and pull start it (being grid locked the array goes down with loss of utility power so we don't juice the repair workers).  With the incentive and 30% federal tax credit the solar array should break even this year.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
