Introduction
« on: 27 Mar 2022, 12:29 pm »
Hi, I'm new to this site but Ive loved music and the art/science of music reproduction for 50 years. I'm blessed with good hearing, unlike some of my friends. We have talked about this many times, with a question that I will ask here. For lovers of music who have experienced hearing loss, is there a audiophile grade hearing aid?
My systems is under construction due to switching to active speakers. I've replaced Martin Logan Montis, which I loved, with Janszen Valentina  a8. Now I plan to sell my NAD integrated amp, along with the pair of Martin Logans and cables. It seems like a risky thing to do, but the Janszens have bewitched me.

Welcome!

Here's a recent Audio Circle link for hearing aids:  https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=181151.0

Congrats for discovering active loudspeakers.  Heard the Janszens at a show years ago and liked them.  My favorites have been JBL 708P.  Hopefully you'll get rid of that tall equipment rack.  I've found that the soundstage between loudspeakers cannot penetrate solid objects.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
