CDT-8 Pro with Denafrips Ares II

I have a Denafrips Ares II. Anyone tried this with a CDT-8?
I'm using an Audiolab 6000CDT currently. I'm sending this back because of issues with skipping on various CDs.

No experience with the CDT - 8 Pro,but my Cambridge CXC  has worked flawlessly for the past three years. In case you're considering other options.

I can give you a partial answer.

I don’t have a Denefrips DAC, but I have owned a CDT-8 Pro for about a year. I like it. I think it’s a great deal for the price. I just received the CDT-10 on Friday, but haven’t powered it up yet to compare the two models. I’ll post my impressions as soon as I can (if you’re interested)..
