My name is Mariusz Uszynski, I'm 57 year old, I was born behind "The Iron Curtain" (Poland). At 12, I fell in love with heavy metal, after hearing "Speed King" by Deep Purple. At 16, my parents bought my first true hifi equipment (I have a kick ass parents!!!).At 25 I moved to Canada (Promised Land) and countinued my hifi/surround adventures.I cut my path with Technics, few Yamaha's, Denon, Arcam. On June.11.2021, when the stores finally got open, I went to Natural Sound in Kitchener, where I fell in love with Bryston.Four and the half months, I became proud owner of BCD-3, BP-17/3 and 4B3.My gear is rounded by Dynaudo Excite X44, Dynaudio Sub 600, Vicoustic panels, Cardas cables and Cd collection.Never Say Never, but I think, this may be my last audio gear, unless I hit lottery???

Welcome!!

Reminds me of one of my favorite musicians from Poland; Mariusz Duda of Riverside (and a couple side projects I enjoy as well).  If you like heavy metal, you might like them.  But they go prog and it's not always "heavy".

I believe you need to host your pictures and then link them.  I use imgbb.

Welcome!

Haven't you heard of streaming CD quality audio?  With it you have access to millions of albums from anywhere within reach of the internet.  Monthly fees are very reasonable.  And you'll be able to ditch those shinny discs and the BCD3 and replace them with a streamer and DAC.

Hi JLM, thank you for welcoming me to AudioCircle, where one can learn and discover thing or two.Actually, I'm not a big fan streaming.Yes, I was considering to purchase Bryston BR-20, but I like the physical format of music, my shiny discs with booklets.I use MP3 files in my car and on my iPhone.

Welcome Mariusz.  That was the name of the founder of the Cheap and Cheerful circle on AC.  He mysteriously disappeared one day never to return.  One assumes that's not you, but regardless, you're welcome here.  I was also a streaming sceptic, until I tried it.  I've found that you don't have to pick either physical media or streaming, I still have all my CDs and LPs on display in my music room, right next to the streaming laptop.  At an antique store this past holiday weekend they had a small but excellent selection of both CDs and LPs.  I had picked out a couple when I realized I could just stream all of this and put them back.  It's not either or, it's in addition to.  I recommend Quboz, skipping the MQA nonsense of Tidal.
