Hi all, just massively downsized the house and am thinking of updating my speakers in the near future. Have been watching Danny's videos and am very impressed with the approach. The new listening area is very compact, so I need a smaller speaker to replace my Mission 727s. Going to be reading a lot about the XLS encore and bravo to figure out a good fit. The listening space is only 10 feet wide and 11 feet deep so the solution has to be pretty good in the near field. All electronics are van alstine, 65 wpc. Hope to look at your various builds and hear your results, and any comments are appreciated.

If your budget allows, include the NX-Studio monitor in your research also

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look at them again. They are quite a bit more expensive but may work better in my small space with the sealed box. I also have a pair of sealed Mission 7o Mk2s and want to compare them with the ported speakers to compare.  Appreciate the comment.
