Hello, I have a BP-173 that have gone silent. I use a Logitec remote. Today suddenly all light on the front lighted up and then silence. I think i saw both green and red light, but not sure. When i restarted the amp it acts like normal, just no sound. Any ideas?

I did own a BP-16 prior to this. I find the soundstage of the BP-173 just amazing.

Depending how old yours is, Bryston has some engineering changes to the front panel circuits.  Maybe that's what failed.  If you send it in for repair it will get all the updates.  Contact mike@bryston.com for help and Return Authorization (RA) before sending it in.

Thanks for reply, I realize I should have waited with my case until I had time to follow up. Anyway, I did a kid stupid press it all sequence (no power amps connected), turned it off and back on and auto-magically it came back on. All good it seams, but I am afraid of using the remote. If the channel output suddenly changed to Bypass mode, my B&W801D would kick pretty hard and a tinnitus is lurking
