Servo Sub Options

Can anyone tell me a difference in the servo subs between two forward facing drivers and one forward and one reverse? Is there an application where one is recommended more over another?  Maybe Danny R can chime in about any differences other than aesthetic.

I actually asked Danny this very question, and he told me that there was no appreciable difference either way.  So I went with both forward in my build.

Forward looks cooler.

From what people have told me having one driver reversed doesn't change the sound much, but it is important to note that the cabinet designs are different. The cabinet is easier to build with the drivers all facing one direction, but the reversed driver version will result in a slightly shorter cabinet.

I had assumed it was a weight and balance thing. Is that not the case?

On my triples I reversed the center driver and it definitely helps to balance the weight with that arrangement, but obviously they don't tip over if you have them all forward facing, they are just a little heavier in the back.

Thank you everybody for the answers!  This all makes sense.  I'm going to have them face forward since I like that look better.
