JBL 2397 Westlake Like Smith Horns
« on: 24 Apr 2011, 03:49 pm »
I had these custom built for my 4-way horn project.
I paid nearly $1,100 + shipping for these a couple years back.
They are solid walnut with what I believe to be cherry fins.
I will also include the 2" throat adapters (which I believe are the JBL 2328 painted black) with the horns.

I've seen damaged MDF built JBL 2397s sold for $375 to $450 on epay, and I've seet the JBL 2328 adapters sold for $80 - $120. I've see used Westlake audio smith horns sell for $1,200 - $1,500.

Thus, I believe my asking price of $750 for Solid Walnut horns is very fair - but I'm open to offers. These have been listed for $750 on epay but I am obvisouly willing to give a small discount to fellow forum members. Local pick-up in Maryland/DC/VA will receive a slight more discount.

Lastly, as always, I'm open to trades so let me know what you have.

I'm very interested in these if they're still available. Did they sell?

Dude, come on.  The ad is over 10 years old.

Not to mention that AC has a private messaging feature for, you know, private messaging.
