Hi Everyone
Introducing myself after many years of lurking on AC reading about audio.  Would like to venture down the path of a DIY speaker build and will start with an X-LS.  I owned an AV123 version for many years and passed that set down to my son along with a set of AV123 Ref 1.5 towers and Ref 100 Center.

I am currently running Schiit Freya+ Pre with a Schitt Gungnir DAC feeding Schiit Aegir mono amps.  My TT is the Mofi Ultradeck.  I have been using Ascend Acoustic Sierra Towers in my office but those are moving to home theater duty shortly and I am looking for a versatile lively speaker.

Thanks Danny and Hobbs. XLS kit is ordered. Looking forward to putting together the crossover 😜

Ordered BB kit from Peter. He really ships a quality product. Of course I already messed up one of the boxes by forgetting to put in the dowel brace. Bummer. But Peter is nice enough to sell me a single so I can have a solid pair.

Have not decided on a finish yet. Will be testing out some stains over the next week.
