XLS Encores complete. Built Danny’s “hot rod” kit with MiFlex ByPass Caps & Tube Connectors. Flat pack by Peter Rawlings. Mahogany veneered with General Finishes Prarie Wheat stain & Arm R Seal satin finish. Now to find something to drive them.

Lovely, well done.

Be mindful that with the Miflex copper caps, they will need about 425 hours of burn-in to sound their best.

With respect to something to drive them, and keeping with the DIY theme, I drive mine with a pair of Nelson Pass "Amp Camp" Class-A amps I built up at the same time, running as bridged monoblocks. Cost: $654 for both, from the store at DIYAudio.

Well done they look very good. Just get Danny to send you 2 GR research badges for the front and they look like brick and mortar bought speakers. Very nice. Congrats
