Hi, new member here. Just an average enthusiast here, on a quest for that next level in sound. I just ordered the "Desktop Mini" diy kit from GR Research. This will be my 1st speaker build so I'm starting small and simple. I was agonizing on picking out some small bookshelves when I stumbled upon GR's kits. I had seen a couple of Danny's YouTube videos but didn't fully grasp what he was about until an episode from Cheap Audio Man, and his review of the XLS Encores. It was all I needed to hear to give GRR a try. The Minis are the size I was currently looking for. If this project goes well, I may tackle the Encores next. I'm fairly handy with projects of similar nature so I'm fairly confident I can pull off the challenge. Anyway, glad to be here and look forward to being inspired by you guys' creations and tips.
