On May 7th I put a down payment of 50% towards a Bryston SP1.7 from Audio One. I was told that it would not take longer then a week for me to receive the unit. However, I have not yet received my preamp yet. The excuse that I get is that Bryston doesn't have an in stock and the units must be built. Now I'm told that my unit has been ready to ship since Friday May 20th, but Audio One has not received the unit yet.
James, can you confirm the validity of what Audio One is telling me. I am getting quite frustrated waiting for my preamp. Thank you.
